All Saints, Blackheath #1

Today I borrowed Skee's tripod as I was hoping to get some night shots out of it. I haven't done any in the past 2 years, so please bare with me on this one. I know they're really simple, but hey, I've got to get to grips with this kinda stuff all over again.

I like this shot...BUT saw that coming didn't you)...

Two things are needed to elevate this shot...better timing (shoot before it gets so dark) so you can keep more details in the image and the tilt makes the image feel like its slipping off the edge. Don't be afraid to change your vantage for landscapes, building isn't going anywhere after all! smile

Heh, heh - I will bear with you, but I won't bare with you. A funny typo that one smile

Everything else is great especially the way the street lights make stars, but the tilt is distracting.

When you upload this picture, use the black background without a border. I have an idea that it will produce great results.
Amazing! I love the flares in the lighting.
on the page with the dark background, the tilt kinda works for me smile

I love night shots and they can be tricky. I haven't done any in a while either.

This is a beautiful church.

All Saints has never looked so magnificent! This is a great shot. Just one question, did you use a starburst lens on this?

Fantastic shot, this is! Looks quite magical. It reminds me of the nativity story in a lot of ways. This would make a lovely christmas card.
