A shot taken by my very trusty assistant, Tunde Owolabi whilst documenting a wedding ceremony recent. I just did a bit of fine tuning to this one (processing and part of the post, yes I intruded on his party). But it's so beautiful, I couldn't help but post it.

Tunde is a remarkable person to work with, his approach is quite unique is ways I've not seen in many photographers. While most other photographers I find spend too much on their own plan during the ceremony he on the other hand watching you to find where he can slot in, as he always on the look out for you.

Oh I was to put up some night shots. Truth is I didn't get the chance to do any night shooting last night. Sorry.

This is a great shot, he should be commended. How on earth did he/you achieve the wonderful vignetting? Great shadows in the background, but I'm not sure how he could have done it!
Jide Alakija: Thanks Alex, the vignetting is a combination of the use of the contrast tool in Capture One Pro (RAW processing software) and the dark areas that already existed in the photo.

I agree, it is a lovely shot.
Jide Alakija: Thanks E.
I have to admit I spent all day looking at you photoblog, and the blame is on the quality of the pics. YOU have a wonderful archive here and I still didn't finish it. I was wondering how can i also post pictures in smaller format like the one you have posted here http://alakija.shutterchance.com/photoblog/Aint_I_the_star_of_the_show_/
Jide Alakija: Hi Delia, Thanks for your comment. I'm not sure what you mean about posting an image in that format, are you referring to the type of image? not sure I understand.
I was reffering at the size of it, it's smaller. How can I make it look smaller on this website when I'm posting the photo.
Jide Alakija: At the top left hand corner of the title bar is an icon that you can use to change the image size. This icon has an arrow pointing diagonally.
