Today I was pondering on a statement a good friend posed to a group of other friends about our Passions! It was described that this really is something that you feel so strongly about that you could end up suffering for, something that you want to do to make an impact on or change. I had a real good thought about this and realised that it was my art. I feel so strongly about inspiring others especially those who have been put down because of their art. I come from a country where Art is not totally appreciated, you're pushed to doing that which in some cases is not your strength or calling (as some might call it). I for one have been to the highest level of education as an Engineer and yet have no real joy in practicing it as a vocation. I am very happy doing what I do now. I can't see myself doing anything else. This is the reason I post every so often. To inspire and to share. What is your passion. I'd quite like to hear about it.

Certainly it is your passion, and it shows!

So does hers in this picture. Through those wonderful colours even.

My passion is to inspire through all forms of expression! To inspire for change hopefully, but even "for thought" is enough
Incredible! Amazing work!!!

My passion is writing.

I thrive on the ability to tease with words.

It's a feeling akin to gently sucking out the marrow from succulent-stewed chicken wings.

Glad to see this discussion is being taken online.

A key question in this case is how you put your passion to good use in living out your values?

I would argue that your passion-in-expression would itself be an expression of your values.
My writing reflect my values, they are an intrinsic part of my writing.
I doubt that it would be possible to divorce your values from passions.
They both flow from a place deep within you.
What do you think?
