Ice Princess #2

This is the second shot in the series. This of course is in colour for the variation and yes I prefer to have really bright hair. Remember it's an experiment, one that breaks a lot of the rules

Focus and composition is good but you still haven't nailed the lighting (unless you were going for the overly bright highlights).

very nice Jide, I think it is great you are trying new things. don't really see any problems with the lighting, its more of style thing, there is really not a right or wrong way of using light. I find yesterdays to be the stronger out of the two (both very good though). what studio did u do this?

I really like this Jide. Reminds me of Narnia.

There are quite a few white specs on the upper left quadrant of the picture....not sure if its my computer.
This is another fabulous shot. I like it a lot and prefers it to the one from yesterday.

I prefer the previous one, for a rather odd reason probably. You see I have had my hair really long and really short and everything in between. One of the things I cannot stand about long hair is when it would blow in my face. It drives me crazy and is so annoying.

When I see people with their hair all blown in their face I have the desire to brush it away from their face, especially their eyes. I know odd, but it just annoys me.

I do really love the light and the pose and she is lovely. I just wish here hair was not all over her face, particularly in her eyes and eyelashes.
yep there is definately blow outs with the light on the left. Very nice, I also prefer this to yesterdays. Well done jige

Surely, this is The Lady of the Lake! Love it.
Wonderful eyes. Gorgeous portrait.
You're very good in this exercise.
