photoblog image

I may not be posting as regularly as I used to as the logistics of what I've been doing has changed a lot recently. I now have a full time photo editor who now does a lot of the business photo editing, he uses the editing work station and therefore I don't have the opportunity to work on photos as much.

Another thing is that I haven't been shooting a lot recently. Most of what I've been doing is admin. If ever I get to shoot it's client related work and they aren't that interesting enough for my photo blog.

This shot is from the same wedding as the previous post, I've tweaked the black and white processing a bit differently here. I think in terms of post processing I much prefer yesterdays shot. As with yesterdays too, the grain is a function of the sensor and not post processing.

At first sight it is not a wow image at all, but it has something very good.

It gets better when looking at it for a longer time.

The viewpoint and the reflection combine to give that fly on the wall feel, there is clearly a narrative here, and with the grain and processing produces alovely result, I would have been very pleased with this were it mine.
