Pit Performance #2

This image has been influenced by the comments from yesterdays post. I got the feeling that more emphasis was put towards the technical side of the photo rather than the subject.

IMHO you have to be careful not to destroy a good moment (as opposed to shot) by your high technical standards. Sometimes you might find yourself focusing too much on it to the point that you wouldn't take a shot of an event because the colours are wrong, composition is not right etc. Sometimes it's about the scene more than anything else. Especially when documenting an event, you can't control many things, so you have to work with what you have.

Anyway, this is a different approach to the event presented yesterday.

Commentary is all true but not sure I can see how it applies to this shot.

If it matters I prefer yesterday's shot though I still think that If you shot manual or used Auto ISO, yesterday's shot might have been better.
Jide Alakija: WOW! You all make it sound as if yesterdays shot was a bad shot! Anyway...

Shot Manual? Dude, I do not shoot manual, so if I did it would not have been a good shot! I still stand that I really like yesterdays shoot too. Todays is totally different.

Re: commentary, I really don't think I follow you drift.
