Photographers Portraits #3 : Bumi

This is the next addition to the portraits of photographers I know. You first you had Atunbi then Abi. This is Bumi. Just as you see her she puts a lot of thought into her work.

Meanwhile yesterday was the first time that I had ever posted an image on my photoblog and not got one comment. Now I wonder is it because no one likes the image? Or is it that they can't be bothered? Or is it that they are just too shy? It's a really weird one for me, at 23:35hrs I had 211 unique views, I would have thought that someone would have at least said something about it.

Please if you are willing to help say something to me today. I don't need to know your name, you can even send me a private message, again I don't need to know who you are.

I love this lady!! ....and I dont even know her?? Infact she is my new role model grin
Jide Alakija: LOL. OOooow...you now into women now??? Okay I'll introduce you both...and she's HOT too.
Sweet edit, almost sweet capture, the arm though is very very very very EXTREMELY distracting. The more we look at the image, the more it annoys.

As to why people do not comment, look at it this way, it's a compliment. Nothing more to say on the Alakija mans pics but PERFECT, after a while does not leave much to say, so they bask in your genius and maybe once in a while, feel the need to remind you just how awesome your work is smile

The arm REALLY is bothering us.
Jide Alakija: sad - first comment.

NOOOOOOO!! I'm not 'now into women now' (...accurately spotting the tautology..)! I was just simply appreciating the ladies beauty/ appearance

I think it's terribly sad when people look at a picture and don't say anything, it doesn't take many moments, yet it's something I notice quite often, because many times I'm the only one to leave a comment. Then I wonder if others think I'm trying to get reciprocal hits. Odd, this blogging lark, isn't it?

I like this picture Jide, the way you've composed it with the reflections gives an idea of place too, but I think I agree with S/S about the arm. I realise that cropping it tighter would mean losing some of the detail of the necklace, but ... I wonder, too, if a narrow frame might have been nice.
