World upside down

When I started this photoblog, my aim was to post as often as I could a shot that really tells the best story about what I had seen at some point in time. These days I'm finding that it is very tough to keep up with the story telling and especially with the demands of posting every day. Therefore please excuse me if you're starting to suffer from "Alakija.com withdrawal" symptoms as a result of me not posting as often as I used to. I found in the past my daily posts, although good, did not truly represent what I wanted Alakija.com to be about. To that end I have decided to post what I want and when I want.

I will endeavour to post something at least once a week. I'll try my hardest.

In the meantime enjoy another street scene from my trip to New York last year.

Your images are as good or better now than those that inspired me to join Shutterchance in early 2006. Whatever you're doing, it's working.

Take all the time you need to make these images Jide. Great work however (in)frequently they come.

Wonderful shot
Love the different expressions on the faces of his audience, most especially the 2 ladies checking their LCD's. Is he on a padded surface or concrete? Brilliant shot smile

Your timing here is excellent, perfect to capture the little man staring straight at the camera - I think if he'd been looking elsewhere, this shot would not have been as powerful! Good shot.
Right on point! Thumbs up..... fab shot!
