Divine strength #2

This is my second shot from this concert.

Atilla and I were talking the other day about photoblogging, and about how it's become increasingly difficult to keep the photoblog running. Suby talked about this too when I spoke to him afterwards on the same day. I have gotten quite bored of photoblogging, and I think it's the reason why most of my recent work has focussed on what I do professionally as a photographer rather than on my creative ideas in (what I thought was) my hobby.

I'm considering changing the subject matter of my posts on Alakija.com, I think I'm going to make this more my daily journal of photos, sort of a journey through my life as a photographer.

Atilla warned me about how repetitive this new path could potentially become. He said that when he started the daily journal, his images seemed to revolve around his work, his home, his girlfriend and I think he said even his car! But let's see how it goes shall we? I think one thing I will at least maintain in my posts is the style of photography I have developed over the last two years. And though I doubt most of the images will have the same kind of impact as my previous work, this I am sure you will understand.

Me likes this one better than Divine Strength #1.

Guess it has to do with sole focus on the subject. Great selective play with the black and white

I think this shot is awesome...
I was present at this concert which i thought was very moving and this shot signifies the power of worship and the experience (dare i say impact) it lays on people.

I think this shot shows Muyiwa just telling God "I give you my life & everything that is within me" and in return receiving God's blessings...

Well done J.A.

I prefer the first one! But it's all subjective...
powerful shot

worthy enough to put martin luther king type speech in the black space on the left

Yup, this is better than the previous. I wouldn't necessarily print this though
