Fat boy slim #2

Remember Fat boy slim? Well this was another from the same day. Sorry guys I'm only putting this up because I don't want to ignore my blog because I have nothing (still in the States). Yes I know, I'm anal like that. I started this photoblog with the intention of not missing a day, I stopped and now feel like I've lost the focus a bit.

Okay back to the shot... tell me a story about it.

I like this. The fading (for lack of a better word) view of the people really brings out this photo. Nice!!

Interesting. The short dof makes it really cool.
I like this very much. I love the way you picked out the one man to focus on. It works really well. (:o)

what gets me about this pic, is its quite humorous, as in my man didn't care the state he was in or the cigys, he was just there and living it large. I like the way you singled him out from the crowd, I think I like this man. He doesn't care what the world thought of him, and made sure his presence counted.

You did a good job of isolating the man.

Your in my neck of the woods...Hey!!! Did you here me shout out?

Hope the trip is great.

I found that when I stopped trying to post every day I gained focus. Just goes to show how everyone is different.

Beautiful DOF, beatiful B&W conversion, I think it makes for a very beautiful photograph. About missing a day (or more), tell me about it, I know how it feels

This works wonderfully well and goes a long way to justifying the faith we put in some of the 'rules'.

He's on an intersection of thirds giving it visual balance; the diagonal line of defocussed people adds dynamism and acts as a lead in lime to the main subject and the vignetting concentrates attention where it's meant to be. Colour is drained out so the the image works based on its tonal values, which are dark making it edgy, which for a beefy bloke as the subject is spot on.

This image has got the lot.
