Just look at that smog in the background! It takes no rocket science to say that this city will soon be in total darkness with the amount of pollution it produces. One does question though where it all comes from. If you think about it, there's really no industry in Lagos apart from the ports. Could this be the effect of a worldwide global warming? Does such a thing exist?

Otherwise you can also see the amount of traffic the city posseses on its roads. When I went to live in Lagos in 1991, the first thing that struck me was the amount of traffic and the madness that came with it. Just looking at this shot I almost feel it coming back again.

Well pollution in Lagos comes mainly from the run-down cars driven around and the illegal burning of the numerous refuse dumps in that geographically small city. I'm sure the prots don't top the list here. I just hate how disorganized the city looks from heights...
Interesting viewpoint. Where did you take this from?
It comes from all the generators used to provide electricty. If only NEPA worked!
