City painted Red

Sometime ago when I had the privilege to capture some cityscapes of Lagos, I took the opportunity to capture heavy traffic scenes as I did in this shot, if you can remember about this time last year. Since then my photography has changed a lot, nowadays I'm doing it more for commerce and survival.

Anyway back then I used to be able to capture some deep and emotive images. This shot is no exception. For those of you wondering this is the look of Shanti Lagos. A lot of uncompleted buildings and some precolonial, these have not been developed in eons.

What else can you add, there are some scholars out there that can share more about this than I can, I only produce the pictures.

A sad reflection of such an oil rich country Jide. Very well photographed and super contrast here. Many kind regards, Neil.
Where's Shanti Lagos?
Sad scenery...
Is that Third Mainland Bridge in the bacground? Looks like Lagos Island? I have a similar pic from UBA House. K
Jide Alakija: I think that's Eko bridge. Yes I took this from UBA House too.
Looks like I must pay more attention next time re: bridges wink Dad's office was by the site of the Anglican Cathedral not so far up the road from here so I took quite a few pics of the area for him. How did you get so high up in UBA House? Your pics is better than mine as normal but I'm learning......
Wow. Great photo. I love those tin rooves.
