Touched and turned

Once a upon a time on Alakija.com, I would go out and catch a shot of a flower, weed or plant of some sort. They used to be quite basic and lacked drama, now since I'm on this pursuit for the dramatic shot I decided to use this shot to change my approach to the lesser specie on the planet.

This shot was not only decolourised, it is also presented up-side-down, Yup the grey brown bit in the back ground is the floor, remember the sun is above so Lavendar grow in the direction of the sun.

lol...definitely i still have ways to go. i'm still struggling to understand how contrast, light and shadow all help in creating drama in a shot. very simple, but well put together shot smile

This shot is actually very soulful for me, Jide. I would choose it to hang on my wall!
Lovely, lovely work Jide, the only thing is I so want the lavender to be lavender coloured though I know you can get pink varieties.

It's a great composition but to me lavender is all about the colour.
Beautiful framing and color tones... niiiice!
