photoblog image Curiousity

Chuckle chuckle! Whenever I see one of these feline creatures I always burst into histeria, they are so curious it's unbelief, sometimes I think they are too curious that you can almost call them dumb because of it.

Here's another I've worked a bit on the dynamic range, this time I didn't use two different exposures, everything was done from one exposure so in essence it's not a HDR. You can see the original shot here.

Feel free to try your own "edits" with it, it's a high res original. In fact I'm "curious" to see what you'll come up with.

So that's where my cat disappeared to. smile
numero uno...AGAIN!!

THE EYES!!!! plus how did you get it to stay still??

feline features are soooo weird, cuz I can almost see a tiger right thru this little cattie cat...LOOK AT THE WHISKERS!!! awww...I really likey...its staring at you, but not a menacing stare, almost like...gimme milk...

much prefer this to the original, in the original, the background color was a distraction - couldnt really focus on the eyes or the whiskers...

I'm happy now

that whole HDR, dynamic hullabub you wrote about up there, I didnt get it, so in simple english please :@)
This is a GREAT SHOT!

Really love it! wink
Well, I really like this AND I like the original so I guess I win twice. Thanks!

Just looked at Suby's edit after a little fight with the code. It is amazing to see two different photographers' take on it. I might go home and try my own this afternoon.

I really love this capture. I am still wondering how you managed to get this little chap to stand still and stare at you long enough to get this shot. I struggle with Jazz even though he is my own cat. This one must be a natural smile
superb processing to complement a really good capture...
Impressive work on the pp!
I like searching youtube for cat and kitten clips precisely because its always guaranteed to make me smile and chuckle out loud.

Our cat died the other day, she had cancer sad

But this is a nice picture. Like it.
Jide Alakija: Sorry to hear about that, how you doing otherwise?
Jide, this is excellent! Love your portraits, human or not. The rich PP tones that you've created here make this as well as the perspective.
Beautiful shot

Nice shot. We used to have cats at home when i was younger. I dont like cats really, purely because they used to steal my meat!!!
