Cross over

Something I haven't done in sometime now is presentation of my images from Nigeria. This is an experiement I am hoping will work out right once I get a good understanding of what I'm trying to achieve. Tell me what you think of it.

I personally don't think the small crop on this site does this image justice and I would have put up a larger one to justify it, I can't be bothered now.

Any questions on this one guys? I really want to share the little knowledge.

I concur what Owen has said.....the composition is pretty amazing.....how exactly did you capture this.....pls share your knowledge.... smile
Jide Alakija: Thanks Dembi. I was in a moving car and I saw the group following each other and thought it would make a good capture.
a very well captured 'mood'..this is the kinda stuff i wanna capture in Lagos. But tell me, what story are u telling here? Am I d only one who cant tell? school children not in skool? Did they hide sumn there?
Jide Alakija: To be honest I'm not sure there is one. It's rather a pointless capture. Maybe that's why I never put it up in the first place. Help me!
i like the processing.. but indeed, it's not very easy to know what it's about without comment from you...
Jide Alakija: Sorry Kris, maybe I should have said a bit more. Honestly I don't think there is much to tell. As I said to Ngozi above, it's a pointless capture, I was only testing out the processing technique. I'll have something a bit more poignant tomorrow.
I like this compositión and i think that the every thing is in the right proportion... deep, composition, color... (its difficult to me to describe becouse i need more vocabulary in english)

in anycase i like this shot.

best wishes
Another good one here Jide, always close to home!

I'm not quite sure what i feel about this image. The blurred edges create a "rear view mirror effect" or like the picture was taken from the backseat of a moving car. I say this because the images are not quite clear... i cant make out the faces vividly and its like a thin glass is obstructing that perfect shot. Anyway, to me, the blurred edges almost take away from the composition except you were going for that "Rear-view mirror" shot. You do wonder about the lives the subjects but i think that thought could have been better provoked from a different angle (if that is what you were trying to capture).
