Partners forever

This is my last shot on my break. It's one that was taken from my first civil partnership ceremony in January. I'm still trying to perfect my black and white event photography particularly at wedding and registry ceremonies. This is one I'm very pleased with, though I still have a long way to go in perfecting the style.

Nice one bro,

I find I have increased the amount of images I do in B&W greatly for wedding shots, they sometimes just look a lot better, I say, once you think you have created the perfect B&W, create an action and presto, work flow time greatly reduced lol

these type of shots are your comfort zone and you do them just perfect smile

Great shot. It's a shame that they the couldn't legally be married. Who should decide what love is to us? Nice shot.

This is a wonderful capture. B&W works perfectly and I really like how you've only included the arms of those throwing the confetti. Beautifully done.

Thank you very much for the visit

You captured well the moment ! Good job
Great Captured one that I am proud of....
What a wonderful photo...captures the moment in a simple and perfect way. Hands down, one of the best wedding photos that I have seen in a long time because of the spontaneity of the pose...a lot of wedding photos these days are so unnnatural and rehearsed and the smiles look plastic. Well done, Mr Alakija...this is definitely a winner

Hmm intresting...very intresting....on the capture..FAB...on the moment...a bit weird for me.
its a lovely capture because of the moment and the processing is really good...but the darkening at the edged has made whatever was black there a slightly sludgy grey...
You've pulled it off well, good stuff.
First off, the b/w tones are perfect! Secondly, the composition on its side like this with the motion of the hands tossing the ross petals really captures the energy of the moment. Last but not least, wonderful expressions on the couple.
