Afro Gala 2006 : high tone fingers

Today was quite an interesting and busy one. I had the opportunity of taking photographs at a Bridal fashion show (where I bumped into Yeni and I heard Suby should have been there too.) That didn't go too much as planned but I got a few good shots from it, not my best though.

Then I also had the JOY of taking photographs at my Old University Society show. I think I got some of the most amazing images I've taken in a while, well a few very good ones (this was one from the show) and the show was brilliant as well, quite a contrast from what I did last year where I only got ONE good shot (this shot).

This is a shot of Waaka, she's a very very good vocalist and I think the she deserves the capture too. I pulled some inspiration from Skee's low light shots for this one, not sure it's as good as this one he took sometime ago but hey every opportunity is presented differently, it's up to you to capture it the best way you can.

Anyway more tomorrow.

Bro, sorry, not feeling to good at the moment, coming down with the flu. Was going to come for the show and then go to another gig I had but with this flu no energy to do both. Up now as off to Reading for a video I am taking the photos (and trying not too fall ill too quick smile)

Sweet shot, so annoying the things you can get away with at ISO 1600 with your camera, good good capture and could only be a B&W shot I guess tongue
Love to madam.
Jide Alakija: Oi! Pele. Take care, I suggest taking a break (rest) and drinking loads of fluids.
A nice shot wich create the right atmosphere smile Bravo !

Cool angle Jide, the light from the top of the key board players arm and key board draw the eye right in. Mal
Jide Alakija: I thought you'd like this one. Thanks Mal.

lovely perspective...!
iso1600 and not much noticible noise..how do you do that..i think twice even while pumping up to 800...any tips??
Jide Alakija: Remember I told you before that the original image is a 12.7MP image and the crop size on Shutterchance is only 0.5MP so you can't see any noise as it's all been heavily compressed.
