How'd it get there? #3

If you liked this image you'll like this one. Instead of a bike I thought something different would suffice this time. My other half, Tosin hates all these images. She just doesn't see anything in them. I used to hate them myself but then something made me like them. I think the sheer detail that they bring is attractive.

Do you think I've got carried away with art like this or am I only scratching the surface? What is your take on images like these?

hey jide,

i really like these images. i particularly like the fact that these are all images that feature an ordinary object in an extraordinary place and/or position. the power of the shot comes from the fact that the objects are so completely out of place in a pile of mud. an office chair conjures certain images in one's mind, however those mental images stand in stark contrast to the one that we are presented with above. keep it up.

anyhow,i like these kind of shots, very artistic....!
the point that nicole put across is true for me too,how the bike and the chair are so out of place..

Can't add much to what Nicole has written, but there's an almost 'after the apocalypse' feel to these images, with everyday objects being discarded, uncared and abandoned.

As Nicole above says, the attractive part is an object captured outside of its usual environment.

I like the bicycle shot better.

I think there are so many types of shots that you do that are so much more pleasing that I wouldn't want to see too many like this. They have their place I think, but I also think I would get tired of them rather quickly.
Very strange picture, something sad in it, as after an atomic bomb ! I like it very much smile
great shot. makes me think of Tarkovsky's "stalker"

Detail is definitely the key with these things. I like the subject here but I reckon there are other viewpoints to be had on this one, perhaps.
THIS IS TAPPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
