Carnival 2006 #11 : Angled smile

I went out today to get some new material and everything I brought back was rubbish. So I've decided to pull something from the archives.

Apart from the little contrast work in this one it's a straight shot out of the camera, again I used Skee's picture style settings. I think the only thing that's interesting  apart from the look is the angle. What do you think?

Okay tomorrow I'm going to get something new for the day.

Nothing for The Streets either, I'm taking a break from that today.

You can really see the detail in the costume in this one. I wish the background was different but sometimes you just have to take what you get right. I liked the others from this series that you did better than this one. (This is from the carnival series you did right?)

I like the angle, it adds an extra dose of energy to go along with her bright costume.
hey jide,

the composition of this shot is great. however, the brilliant angle is really what makes this shot. i love the way the headdress stands adjacent to the lines in the bricks. really nice capture.
nice shot Jide. The tilt works for the subject. Do you mind sharing the picture style setting?

The angle's good and the colours etc. But - it's a tall thin headress on a taller (than wide) person, so to me, it's crying out for a vertical format presentation, even if you have an angle. That way, we'd get to see her right shoulder. Just my 2¢ worth. Have a great weekend Jide.

A fabulous costume, I like the tilt of the shot and the detail you've captured.
