photoblog image Thought?

Some HDR here. This is a shot taken on our trip in Prague. I thought I'd try and do something that would require the use of a wide dynamic range. I'm not going to go too much into it.

Anyway here's something from the archive. Today, my friend Stacy and I carried out a shoot in Tosin old house and we got some really impressive stuff. I think I owe alot to Stace on this one. I'll ask the client if it's okay to post one from the shoot.

Streetphone is back but with a twist this time. I've decided not to use my camera phone anylonger as I'm having problems getting it to connect to my laptop. It's now my Black and White Street photography blog. Check it out

Where's the hdr at? Enlighten me please, Master! Lovely melancholy b&w. But was the title supposed to be 'Though' or 'Thought' - sorry I am a bit ocd, but you already know that smile
Jide Alakija: I've changed it now. You know because of my dyslexia, I never notice these things.

As for HDR, it's allowed me to expose for both the interior of the carriage and the exterior. Had I only exposed for the exterior the interior would have been really dark or if I did it for the interior the exterior would have blown out.

this is really good Mr Alakija, it very much suits today as Tosin embarks on her journey

I really like this one very much. The HDR is fairly subtle which is really nice to see as it doesn't look "cartoonish" as it sometimes can.

Very well done. The blur of the street side really works with the thoughtful, far away look in her eyes. The world is just wizzing by but she remains in her own world. Interesting detail in the window behind her. Great shot!

amazing shot !!!
fantastic! hdr does wonders on some photos but this shot would look great in any other way too.
She's very pensive the lady on the bus. I think this is a moving moment, however I am not sure her thoughts are so happy, and that awakens emotion within me. Thast's what a good life shot should do! Great stuff Jide! You really should remove the reference to you being an amateur in you Bio, that's a load of rubbish, dude.
Very unusual and fantastic shot. Regards, Neil.

Nice, she does look very thoughtful .. and the movement gives her something to think about.

Really like this shot. The contrast in mood between the calm inside and the blur outside works brilliantly.

HDR works quite well in black and white, I think. I like the motion in this photo best.
