The Soul Train #1

Okay I've been meaning to do some smoke shots for a while now but I've never got round to doing one. Today I actually made time for this one and I'm quite pleased with the result. I have uploaded another one for tomorrow as well.

Though these are quite basic (today's and tomorrow's) I think it's a good start, as they say in italian (and correct me if I'm wrong) "piano, piano". I'll do some more complicated ones as time goes on.

ah yes, ive seen the website of this guy who has images only like this...different backgrounds, different shapes, different shades (sadly, can't remember the site, i stumbled)....and although they're strictly not photography i find them amazing interesting and anyway, im the first one to jump out of the box....this is actually pretty good, try a black bckgrd too if possible....
Jide Alakija: "and although they're strictly not photography" - What do you mean? I used a camera to take a photograph of this one so what's not photography about it?

well done...I done normally say it but today I am IMPRESSED.. keep it up
Jide Alakija: I'm glad you are impressed.
Very cool stuff..I keep asking you how you do stuff, so i wont this time..but wow..
Jide Alakija: The day you stop asking me is the day I know you don't want to learn any longer.

As to this shot, the concept is not original, well at least I'm not the first person that has done it. Have a look at this link for some information on how it's done.

You're an artist smile
Jide Alakija: Thanks Z.
