Toy Soldier

It's been a while since I've put up an overly processed image. Today I present you one of those figures you could possibly see in a toy store. Actually this is a Czech Soldier guarding the Prague Castle Gate. He didn't move an inch when I walked towards him which is a shame because I took advantage of it. I bet he must have felt uncomfortable with it well not as uncomfortable as I started feeling looking at the weapon he was carrying in his right hand.

You thoughts on this one would be greatly appreciated.

His head and had needed straightening.I m sure he would have impaled you with his bayonet if you touched either.
Other than that,i cant see anything else wrong with him
I think everything about this photo that you had control over was great. I dont' think i'd have had the nerve to shoot the picture though! Nice work!

This doesn't "look" overly processed. It looks really intense and really captures the mood well. (you couldn't help the way his cap was). Unless of course you went up to him and adjusted it yourself...Nah...probably NOT a good idea, that weapon is scary.

Despite being to Prague 7 or 8 times I've never been up to the castle. I'm saving that for if I ever take my wife. Anyway, if I ever do get up there I'm taking my camera so hopefully I can get a great shot like this smile

If you've done a lot of processing on this one, it's certainly very subtle. There's beautiful lighting on his uniform. The sentry box seems a little towards the right
Wow - Thisc guy is not going to smile until his death ! smile

I'm sure he's quite used to this and it doesn't bother him much any more. I sure would like to know what he was thinking, though! Great portrait! Too bad you couldn't show it to him. I'll bet his momma would love it!

It's very sad in a strange way.
