Beyond tranquility

Archive digging once again. I've not been shooting for some time now and I think that has more to do with my mood and the state of my mind. Anyhow I'm glad to say that now I'm feeling a lot better than I was yesterday after getting some really good comfort from some friends.

This shot was taken way before I bought my DSLR. I didn't know much about compositions and what made a good photo, all I knew when I took this shot was that I really liked this view. Unfortunately it was dark and dull on that day which is very typical of a UK beach. I thought I'd highlight it a bit with the way it's been post processed.

My day: Okay I'm really playing with the Inland revenue here, I really should get my Tax return done as the deadline is fast approaching, does anyone find themselves in this predecament? This is my first time I'm having to sort out my tax myself since I've left school. Seem really daunting to me.

Hey Jide, this shot really is on my "wave" length! I so love moody seascapes. Really lovely capture. Mal.

I had to do mine for the first time this year, I just did not understand what the hell they were on about or need! Good luck. Mal

I like the tones but I'm not sure it works with the breaker leading the eye into the centre of the shot.

the question for those taking a stroll on the beach is whether it is the sun or the clouds moving in, nice b & w
Stonking, stonking shot, Jide! I wouldn't bother going into technicalities (which i know nothing about). To me this is a perfect shot of a perfect day. Awesome.
