World on it's side
You remember the moment I caught this young man upside down? Well I also caught him on his here.
Street entertainment is an interesting profession. If you spend enough time and work out how much they make for their work you wonder why it's not an attractive vocation. Think about it, out of all the people watching this young child, about 30% (probably 20) will give roughly about $1 each, so making about $20. Now this is for one session, this young man is going to get another set of people in the next hour and the hour after that and on it goes. I'm assuming he does this 5 times....WOW $100!!! Is it me, or am I being a bit too liberal on how much he is getting? Ok if I am, he does this at half the amount, $50 is a pretty good wage for a days work. From tomorrow I'm going to change the type of images I'll be posting. I think it's about time I delved into something different for a while and see how I get on. Wish me luck - Jide Alakija

Nice spontaneous capture.
Now why did you cut off the heads where you did? Either they are in or they aren't...
Jide Alakija: If only I could slow down time I would have had a good answer to that question.
superbe cette photo
Jide Alakija: Thanks.
cool blogging dude
i don't think we need all the tops of their heads to appreciate what's going on about our friend's wages, a lot of it probably goes into insurance
I think these guys love being entertainers. I'm sure with 5 mins thought by him he would establish that is a job for odd occasions. I think doing this on his wrist for very long would lead to serious joint issues within a few years... and that may not be much fun.
The image ... lovely and sharp and just enough focus on the by-standers without being a distraction. The chopped heads work fine. richard
love the composition,
the black and white conversion works really well here
great shot..i love the title too ...amazing interpretation...the world on it's side....future generations...so much poetry in this..or maybe it is just me.....
