Good bye NY
Fellows, I found something in the archives that I thought I might share for teh weekend. This particular one was taken on my flight between New York and London Last summer. I'm not completely sure about this one.
I was originally going to put up something a bit "springy" but today we had a very Winter wet day, some of you may not know that the weather in the UK is probably the most unpredictable any where in the world. We had 4 days of very hot weather and all of a sudden we now had a very cold day today. If global warming has hit hard we're definitely feeling it over here. Anyway enjoy the shot. Also good news, I'm almost getting to the point of posting every day, I've finally found my mojo, watch out folks!

This is my favorite scape picture from you, the timmimg couldn't have been better. I see some white spots on the lower right of the frame and a small one to the bottom left, I think this may have to do with shutterchance's sharpening.
Jide Alakija: Thanks D, you also know what I've just noticed, I had the wrong ICC profile saved to the image, the original is a lot richer!
Great colors and textures!
Very nice!
Jide Alakija: Thanks Remi
fantastic. mal
Jide Alakija: Thanks mal...you don't look to bad yourself
First, it an awesome shot. I missed a similar one recently
Your white balance is off. Clouds are too blue/magenta. The vignette is too strong and the shot is a bit underexposed.... ...all inmho of course
Jide Alakija: Hmmm....I have no comment.
Very atmospheric shot. I can't find much wrong with it - I don't think the white balance is an issue as it's very possible the clouds were that colour.
Ingrid
Jide Alakija: Thanks Ingrid, I guess you're probably the one I was aiming to please this time.
I am transported to this place in the clouds and a time when leaving was gray and heavy and I felt wrapped in it.
I don't give a flip if the clouds are their real color or not. I am struck on a deep emotional level.
Jide Alakija: WOW! Thanks Kathryn, that pretty deep. Thanks again. You've brought more light to the image.

That would be great
If you have any questions, please ask me Regards, Steve
not sure lol, its breath taking Jide would blow that up big and hang it with pride on any wall in the house
Ahhh! Window seats see why I like the window seat, even though I am deathly scared of heights and all, is shots like this...
You hit the shutter at the correct momet. Love it to bits real eyecatcher thanks for sharing.
This is one of the most beautiful sky shots I ever seen on SC. Forget the white balance issue...forget the technical stuff...embrace the moment that you were able to capture this natural piece of art and...that you had the ability to see what we here on the ground can't see...
ooooh fabulous...
Can't believe I missed this one!
This is the best sunset on SC!
Cracking shot .
Ahhhhhhh.... see nature, experience the peace, consume the atmosphere.
I feel like a poet. lol |
