Children of Rwanda #9: Sunshine Child
This shot represents the sunshine in the new things in life. New jobs, new projects, new wife, new husband, new born child, new pain....speaking of new things, I'm dedicating this shot to all those entering a new phase in their lives in particular my girlfriend who is starting a new venture and I'm keeping my fingers crossed you'll be smiling all the way to the bank.
Oh and yes I deliberately left this one in colour, I got a bit addicted to the black and whites. I'm now learning how to process my images in colour once again.

You mean toned down and desaturated colours, sorry does not classify as a colour image yet

Is it me or does this child have a striking resemblance to a certain tosin whose images used to be on the blog.... their faces look so alike or maybe i need to go to specsavers.

Suby! Abi you still haven't learnt about my fiery lawyer/ kung pow dragon tactics?
Excellent portrait, love the eyes and teeth.

Jide Alakija: Funnily enough I didn't.
I love this.
This makes me smile
I like your porttraits, this is special. Great composition, great light and nice sepia´s tone.
Thank you for your comment. Enric.
i like this pic because:
1. I though I had it figured out until a colleage of mine told be my assessment was incorrect. 2. I'm wondering how you got up and close and still kept it natural. 3. To me, you really connected with the subject and vice versa. I have a lot of homework to do.
Oh, I forgot to comment on the clarity of the pic is great. I use a Pentax K10D with a 18-250mm ED AL IF lens, and I'm sure you are aware of the conversion factor to 35mm frame. do you think it's worth it to upgrade to a 35mm frame format DSLR like the 5D or is it really the quality of the lens one uses? I'm at the point where, I'm starting to wonder if I should further invest in my equipment or bite the bullet and upgrade to the 5D. Forget about Nikon's new D5: I'm not even on that level. Photography is an expensive career for someone starting out.
Sorry, Nikon's new D3. new to this blogging thing
Fab. As Mal says, super shot.
