Sorry I couldn't post yesterday as I would have, I was slowed down by a little relapse of an illness that has been bothering me for the past two months. I'm happy that I'm on the mend. As I am getting older my ability to work through the week with very little sleep is dissappearing. I have to adjust myself and start working smarter in what I do.
This is a shot taken during the last walk at Portobello. I came across this gentleman who was setting up his stall with another photo colleague, Trey. With a face like this I could not but stop and interrogate him about his look.
My tip: When taking a portrait, a big tip I will leave you is that you should always remember your back drop before you take the shot. It can make or break your shot! If you have a dark subject don't use a bright backdrop as you will have more focus on the backdrop than your subject. Get the point?
