10 hour journey to Kigali

One from Rwanda. I keep raving to all my friends about how I've never seen such a blue sky before in an African country.

My Tip: Ever heard of the Rule of thirds? Well they help with your composition. When in doubt always use this rule.

Lol.. I remember that one. It messed up my head when I first learned about it. Question today.. What techniques do you use to get such dramatic chromatic processing such as in this pic and others I've observed up to this day.

Jide Alakija: I'd like to stress as I always do...if you see a dramatic scene you get a dramatic shot...if you don't see one you wouldn't. This shot had a combination of a great sky with dramatic clouds and a rough terrain...hence the shot looks this way.

Don't focus on the post production, too many photographers today do that thinking that it will make a less dramatic shot look dramatic...NO it doesn't work like that.

Ignored the rule here didn't ya? wink
Jide Alakija: This shot is about negative space. Very effective when it comes to putting things in context.
I just like this image a lot, regardless of any rules...
