Hue

This is somethng from very deep into the archive. It's a photo taken along the Third Mainland Bridge of Lagos, Nigeria. Taken at the same time as this other shot. I can't remember the name of the place but there sure are a lot of shanty looking buildings there.

Awesome J, greatly captured... all of a sudden I feel so so sad. I'm such a fake Nigerian...3/4 years in Lagos & I never knew a place like this existed..I've seen the poverty, but this sheds a new light. Non-maintenance indeed Ade, o whence shall we rise up. It's so disheartening...:o(
Jide Alakija: There are many other fake Nigerians out there...I included.
You outdone urself with this capture & edit bro.

STANDING OVATION.
Really like your treatment of this shot. We went on our honeymoon to South Africa about 4 years ago and one of my most vivid memories is being in a really nice beachside restaurant in Plettenberg Bay and then literally driving around the corner and seeing rows upon rows of shanty houses. The contrast between the wealthy and the poor is very striking.

Jide, you are a really really good ... but you know that already.

How much do your pictures go for these days? I think we early discoverers should start buying now before ...

Wait, have you though of selling your work? Inquiring minds would like to know.
This is simply a superb picture. It is a great image that tells its' story very well
You are just sooo talented! This is a very captivating shot and the caption is on point as well...Well done!
Wow, very nice. Contains lots of elements but still not too much (well done!! most people fail on this, including me). The mood is really impressive. Perhaps a little bit too dark for me personally.
I think this is probably my favorite of all the photographs I have missed. A truly awesome capture, with wonderfully subtle tones. (:o)
