Sharing the wealth

For a shot taken at f/32, it's surprisingly quite sharp! I don't have any ND long exposure filters yet so this was the best I could do. I'm looking to get some filters soon though. If anyone could give me some pointers as too where to get good affordable ones please drop me a note.

Quite a bit of work has gone into producing this one. Infact I had about 15 adjustment layers in getting it right. I think I could have easily done it with just three if I knew where I was going with it.

I thought since I hadn't done anything abstract for a while it would make sense for me to mark my 801st shot with something very different.

I quite like the colour, I also like the caption very much. Well done!

hell yes, i like... you've added a lot of drama to what might otherwise be an ordinary sight... love the toning and the light...
Very nice! The toning of the fountain and the statue is excellent!
The people at the sides are a bit disturbing but fountain looks so great that you almost cannot crop the image.

Filters: I bought some of the Cokin P series. Pretty cheap, quality OK for occasional amateur usage. The filters are from plastic not glass. Don't use the A series unless you do only tele and have small lens diameters.

They also have the much more expensive the Z and X series for professionals.

I know it has to do with Greek Mythology...love it!
Great stuff, Jide. Ebay is a good source for affordable filters: a certain high street camera shop wanted £50 for a 77mm. polarizer: I bought one from Hong Kong for around £15!
