Lords Cricket Grounds

This year has been a really good year in terms of the venues I've been photographing weddings. Sometime earlier in the year I had the priveledge to photograph one at the Famous Lords Cricket grounds in London. We weren't allowed to go on the grass per say however I did get a shot of the couple with the grounds in the background. Once the shoot was finished I had a few moments to walk around. I thought I'd grab something for my photoblog.

I'm not into cricket but I have to say I was very overwhelmed by the sheer expanse of the pitch.

I love the expanse of the pitch too. But the things that got me were the lush green grass and the clear blue sky with a lot of extra white clouds...smile

i'm loving this..... paranpapapa (sung like j.t.)
This is the home of cricket. I've only been once, to watch my team Worcestershire in a one day final against Gloucestershire (we lost). This is a superb picture of the ground. I could hang it on my office wall1

Now this I like. The colours explode and are still kept together.
