Muyiwa, A portrait #1

Okay let's side track a bit. I don't normally bring my work into my hobby, i.e. photoblogging but I thought I'd share a few images from a comission or two today and beyond as I sense that you're probably wondering what I've been upto for sometime.

I think one of the bigger ones from last year was the one for the Muyiwa & Riversongz new album, "Declaring his Love". It's one that I didn't even really know where it would go, but the images from the concert and photoshoot were used for quite a few publications. I must say I was quite overwhelmed when I saw the portrait on the front cover of "Gospel Link Magazine" and also the album cover too.

I guess I'm just greatful for the opportunity to be part of such a big project.

Anyway the above shot was quite an interesting one and you'll see more why I say so when you see tomorrows shot.

Mr Muyiwa himself. Keep blessing us with you talents bro.
Wow that's something to look forward to. I hope I will be able to do produce a shot like that in the near future. Lovely; and the guy has a certain presence. You can actually feel it from that picture.
A wonderful portrait. I love the lighting and the processing.
Powerful tones, powerful image ... and I guess a powerful man.
