On Saturday I went out with Andrew Oseibo (a Professional Photojournalist) and a very good friend, Andrew Turpie. We went shooting at Portobello market.
It was such great fun working with both Andrews today and I look forward to the next time we would go out again like this. You can actually see Andrew O, on the left in the background.
This image i part of a three part series that I am calling "Gordon, the Banjo player". Apart from the distraction on the right I am very happy with this one.
i do not see the person on the right as a distraction.I didnt see her until you mentioned it. To me,she adds to the scene.she makes the picture look more natural or say, more "streetlike"
i guess this is what el mariachi might look like in his old age, after killing so many baddies in Mexico he trades in his guitar for a banjo and lives like a fugitive on Portobello road.
I'm inclined to agree with you about the lady in the white skirt, a moment or two later and she might have had less impact. The rest of the picture's just fine.

Nice capture
