about

Another very late one. The reason, I spent the night at my parents place last night, again I was too tired to drive back home to my flat to do an upload. I got my very much deserved sleep at least.

Not much was done here, the model was already looking rather dashing. All I had to do was just boost up the contrast and colours a bit. What do you think?

The Alakija fella, wasssssup???? Ticks all the boxes smile BUT...

Whats with the hair on the top of the eye, why not remove it???

Suby
Jide Alakija: What hair? I don't see any hair!
You blind? smile Top right, there is a hairline or 2.
Jide Alakija: Don't think it's that bad Suby. Not sure I can really see it. Sorry dude. If it really bothers you, you don't have to look at it. grin

I did wonder what suby was on about - but maybe he is talking about the two strands of hair on the right side of her face, between the side of the right eye and the mid ear lobe. The strands are crescent in shape.

apart from the whole jide and suby drama, loved the pic.
Jide Alakija: Thanks!
FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT smile

P.s
Since I am bigger than the Alakija fella, I WIN tongue
Jide Alakija: It is not a matter of how big but how you use it! wink

Wowwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!, She really looks good Jide. What caught my attention was her eyes!!! Goodone
Jide Alakija: Thanks Yeside.
Nice framnig and natural look from the model, a bit too red for me. The whiteness of the eyes seem to be uneven, the left eye looks whiter than the left.
Jide Alakija: Thanks Dotun. I guess it's just a matter of style here. I increased the saturation of Natural light on the right of the face. I didn't like the redness there, kinda made the image too flat for me, do you like my artificial yellow light gel? Did it in photoshop! grin
So you mean you didn't touch up her skin at all? Pls help me ask her what cream she uses.... grin
Jide Alakija: LOL...I'll ask her for you.
Lovely portrait, very well processed. Question though, why such a high ISO, and how did you avoid the associated grain?
Jide Alakija: Hey Chuks...we're still due our meet up. Let's do Portobello with my mate Mista Skee one of these mornings.

High ISO? Well if you're doing portrait photography High ISO is a must, you want soft skin as a result. Also I had no choice, I didn't have a tripod and it was really dark (1/30sec, I've mastered the art of holding the camera still) and finally the EOS 5D has relatively no noise even at ISO 1600, I shoot weddings at ISO 1600 through out
Soft and very feminine. Lovely.
Jide Alakija: Thanks Laurie.

This is from that party at that Chinese restaurant. Wasted a good part of my working day staring at those pics on Facebook (an old classmate of mine from med school was at party and was tagged and then...). So here I was, thinking, "who was taking those photos?" And someone does the Jide Alakija comment, and I say... no wonder... Lovely work!
