This is a shot I'm not too sure about. The idea is there but I don't think I've executed it well. I think for what it is it will do but maybe later I'll make a modification. I originally had it done in monochrome and that worked fine but I don't want to post another one of those portraits for a while.

I think also the fact that I'm not exactly feeling well has contributed to my lack of inspiration. The past 5 days has been the most hectic of days, with all the work I've had to do. I do love it though, I just haven't had enough sleep and my body is now crying for help.

This shot says alot about how I feel today. What about you what does it say to you?

On another note some of you have enquired about some of our wedding work. Well I've managed to create a slideshow of some images from a recent wedding. You can view this one here.

I cannot tell what it is, but something seems lacking it. Nice concept though.

Whats the picture supposed to be saying Jide? Well I dont know. I was battling with something yesterday. I needed to go home but I wanted to put a picture up so I would have to stay late to work on it so the battle was 'Do I just rush thru it and put up a bad picture or not put up anything at all instead of a bad one?'
Anyhoo go figure.
Thanks for taking the time to put it together...I will get the interested folks to look at it...the key q is are you available and interested?

Actually, Jide, I must be weird but I really like and get this one! It could be straight out of Mel Gibson's "Apocalypto" movie.

I enjoy this pic. it's a straight movie shot...very primal.
very intense, she's got something to hide...i think this might have worked better in bw because the blue doesnt add that much...get well soon...

PERFECTO!!! (look who's back by the way grin) Unlike suby i quite like her facial expression and the composition!! Dark and goth comes to mind......
That marvelous slide show was just the breath of fresh air that I needed Jide. It was easily hands down the best set of weddings I've seen for a long time and if you put this together on a mac and that was the Ken Burns effect then I'll happily change my mind about it.

Like Ginnie maybe there is something wrong with me as well. I like the isolated intensity of the shot but I think it would be stronger still in b/w.

I like.

It puts me in mind of someone hiding in the jungle for whatever reason - military? stalker? prey? - with a moonbeam capturing an inscrutable expression.
