This is the follow up image that I put up a few days ago. This is a colour version of the same scene.
Thank you very much for your lovely comments yesterday. I really lived Ovo's idea on starting a story trail, obviously not many people read the description or the comments so there wasn't a great response to the story. I'm not going to quit just because I have a fashion image, let's tell a story on this one. I'll start it with......
....Life can be presented very much like this this image....you're hanging on a tight string, all looks dark and gloomy around you but the one you are hanging onto looks very bright and pretty.....(at this point you carry on)
and that bright and pretty one eases your burden and behold you become bright and pretty yourself...lol...sorry i'm not very creative. maybe the next person will do better.
it's a great shot Jide, really love the colours here.
Jide Alakija: Thanks bridge, and thank you for your efforts in continuing the story, you took a brave stance.
...it's a fine balance, and everything is in tune, the way it should be. What you first took for darkness and gloom is merely potentiality. Something is waiting to happen. Something good. The pretty one will smile, then laugh, and all will be well with the world...
I like this photo. The outfit is something I would have worn when I was young and fit. The colour is beautiful.
Jide Alakija: Fantastic Karen, thanks.

until the string breaks and the beads fall where they may like life's troubles hitting you in all directions. You fix it, but its never the same.
Jide Alakija: That's so true, thanks Ola.

Err, i kinda stumbled on your site through facebook.Lovely pictures though.
Jide Alakija: Thanks Ola, I hope you comeback tomorrow for another post.
I love how she's seemed to have absorbed the light. Everything around her seems to be dark and she and her percussion instrument are just glowing. Really nice!
..and your see power of beauty and you redefine your world for your thoughts change from gloom to beauty and you see the world differently ...!!!!!! Nice one Jide

Jide, this is VERY much appreciated, I couldn't hank you enough for this!
Ok that is it, how much will it cost for you to flight out to Gambia, Gabon and the Ivory Coast to take some pictures for me? Believe me i am serious because it will happen. I am think a year and a half from now. Quote me a figure and I will hold you to it
Jide Alakija: I'm thinking what you're thinking....I know what you want to do, I want to and am planning on doing it. I think we should do it together, get the money raised...but I will take time out of your work. Maybe when you're in between jobs you can take time out to do it.

..you are stunned by the light which emanates from it, so much so that it blurs away the fact that you are hanging by something so frail, so thin, so unreliable...but what the heck if only just for this moment, the fun, the excitement, the desire to be drawn in brings relief from what is yet to come ... if only it would wipe away the reality of things ...if only .....
Hmmmm Jide what fun on your blog....its an attractive photo I likey very much and i enjoyed the whole concept thingy ma jig !! Well done Well done!!
I love this pic! I am in the middle of a change to align my dress sense with my new perpective on my life and this chic's style ignites that drive in me to keep embracing change even if sometimes I feel like a lot's dangling on the thin line btw the old me and the new moi.
it's a great shot Jide, really love the colours here.
