The Dreamer

The young man takes a break from the mundane activities of his day to stop and think about life. Perhaps weary from carrying his bowl possibly for many miles, he slumps over the railing to regain his energy. His gaze rests on the large corporate building in the distance and I wonder what occupies his thoughts... life can be unfair sometimes, perhaps all the potential in the world lies within the head of this young man but unfortunately it is quite possible that the world will never get to see it. As he daydreams of what his life could be like I send warmest wishes towards him and hope that he gets to make his dreams come true...Funke x

Very nice shot. I almost want to move the camera so i can get a glimpse of his profile, some facial expression. Know what i mean? On what bridge was this taken?

Maybe with intentional thoughts like this from we few who watch him look, the Universe will bring great things to pass for him!

Great shot - good pose, composition and stong diagonals. The fact that the photo told the story for me without having to read the words says it all. Impressive. Mike
I like the fact that you find time to capture or present the real issue in life occassionally. 2 things come to my heart.
1 i am so so very grateful for how far ive come in life. I know this view very well and i never got the opportunity to look from Marin Bridge but i did mine from down bellow.
2 It brings to the fore my commitment to dedicate 2 - 4 weeks a year to voluntary work that puts a smile on someones face.

Thanks for fanning to flame the vision within . We are all vessels.
I love this: that I cant see his face yet I can 99.9% tell what's on his mind....I'm happy now :@)

count ur blessings....
brilliant subject...i suppose people from all walks of life can, in some way, associate with him...
Love the writeup as it relates to the picture. The processing also adds to it, giving it a strong yet 'suffered' look. Liking!!!
