House Kids

I managed to find another shot from my first shots on the EOS 10D, I was really not good at all with the camera, my compositions were very off....the annoying thing is, I've more shots on my blog from Lagos during this time than I do with my new camera. I think I went out a lot more then than I do now.....oh dear I'm slowly getting bored of photography...yep I knew it was going to happen sooner or later.

I wonder if you're moving from your 'prolific' period of photography into another phase? I can't imagine you ever hanging up your camera for good, because it's something at which you are extremely skilled.

I actually quite like the stark shininess of this picture.
Quite the contrary. At times myself I get so sick of images that are you so composition perfect, it is really refreshing to run into an - in my humble opinion - excellent image that just looks so candid. My only quibble would be with the seeming over-processed feel to the final image.
In a more concise manner: very lovely image smile

I really like this picture. There's something so basic yet cool about it. Without reading more into it than i should, (although i'm probably doing that already by making this comment) it represents equality to me. The male - female subjects, same size, the same height and they almost look alike (probably siblings). Anyway, i find it really cool. It makes a statement without making one.... One thing though is the toning. It is so bright that it hurts my eyes to stare at it. I think it could have been a tad less bright. (my two cents...)

i dont see equality (altho that may be one way to look at it) i see child slavery..the last thing children of that age will be worryin about is equality, actually , their expressions, seems to me like they are one of the millions kids wishing for empowerment..jide, nice..would be nice if u cld really capture expressions, just so it could have that grippin effect, that cld take us to where they are? ..the northern beauty shot was plain..the lady had no expression in her eyes, almost like she ddnt feel like she was beautiful..or maybe im just taking it too seriously...
