I'm a loan shark

Would you want this dude to take anything from you? Yes he has that "Gimme your money and I'll double it" look or "I'm a loan shark, you'll always need me". Sometimes I feel like the structures in our society have a look like this. They seem to have the light around them but what's really in them?

Disclaimer; the model has not endorsed the views expressed by this shot and blog post, please don't go linch him if you see him around.

Update: To help everyone understand my compositions better, the reason I use a lot of negative space is because I'm taking the shot in retrospec of the fact that the image could be used for commercial presentations, say for instance a movie poster, the Title would be in the negative space. So really you've got to think beyond the image that you see, think about what it's for and why it was taken.

Thanks. I hope this helps.

Now this is how you know the rules of composition, throw them away when you want to achieve an awesome image, as usual bro, you come up with an amazing amazing pic

SUby
lovely shot, the skin tones looks so real. As a matter of preference, not sure of the negative space above but it is unique in its own way.
Great portrait, wonderful tones and lighting, but I also am not sure about the amount of negative space in this one.

I like the way he's looking downwards towards the camera, it gives a reason to have the space around him. He's got a lovely face, and the background is really good too, I like the whole picture smile

I'm a total fan of your work. Its really fantastic what you do with the space and the way the colors seem to pop out. All your models have character. He obviously seem really nice... (not quite sure how true that is but you make me believe it) I suppose the negative space thing does help as well... GREAT WORK.
