Afternoon sunshine

Today I took the day off to do some work for a friend. I took some time out and checked out this new park near my new area. Oh i moved from Thamesmead about two months ago. Anyway, I thought since I haven't done any shooting in a while I'd try out some spring type images. Much to my dismay most of the flowers are all dying out.

This is a shot of a daisy wrapped around some flowers fallen from a tree. It's somewhat similar to this shot I took last spring.

The next few shots are a bit different from my normal kinds of images. They are about highlights and lowlights in trees.

Hey Jide, any post work done ? normally you'd say what you did so I was a little curious. I love the way it just well fits right there as if nature intended for it to be that way. The colour of the fallen flowers are an almost perfect contrast for the daisy.
Jide Alakija: I should have posted the original. Yes this has been heavily processed. The flowers underneath were originally pink in colour

Jide Alakija: You know when I did this shot last year (http://alakija.shutterchance.com/photoblog/2076.htm) DJN (www.chromasia.com) did the same thing on the same day too last year. So I understand how you must feel.
keep on been the inspiration that you are......
Jide Alakija: Too kind.
Outstanding!
The composition is nice, the whites are not blown and look wonderful, the contrast between the flower and the background is excellent, ..... superb!!
