B/W wedding moments #6

I was bored today and had a look through some of my old photos in my archive and thought I'd use this opportunity to talk on this photo. Before that though I must admit I almost shed a tear on how far I had come looking at all those old photos. If you want to know more about it just start from the beginning and you'll see a slight progression in the way I have become more confident in front of people with the camera. I used to be very shy when I started. In the same way this young lady is. Memories, I bet this photo wouldn't mean much to her now but come 10 years she'd be very interested and provoked to think what she was actually thinking when this shot was taken of her.

It's another shot that took quite sometime in processing. I would have put up the original but no time. You can imagine the light was flat.

"Words are not enough" - Art Exhibition
Get your tickets now!!!
Tickets on sale here

My very good friend BolanleDinah has been working very hard on an Art exhibition for charity. She approached me to contribute some of my works for auction along with some other artists. The title of the exhibition is "Words are not enough" and you can see more details of it here. I strongly urge you all to come as you'll not only get a chance to see good work in 3D but also a chance to give to charity. Tickets are on sale on the website through the "buy now" link at the top.

This is pretty neat at ISO1600, If you dont mind I will like some quick tips or tutorial on handling high ISO images. The highest i've gone till date is probably 800 and I hate the results.
i like the angle of this shot
Your B&Ws are amazing. Please add me also to the list if you are planning to have a tutorial.
A amazing picture !!
I'm in on the tutorial! Nicely composed image.
I'm still shy to walk up to people to take a shot which is why you mostly see friends or eager participants on my blog. I'm sure I'll get better too. Nice write up.
Awww this is a sweet photo. It's evident how you have progressed.
Very cool shot! The light on her face is great.

Sorry, I came back here again. Looking at this closely and geting past the excellent composition, I can see an issue with the PP on the girls face. Her face seems to be carved out too perfectly from her hair, looks like it needs a smoother transition.

Really like this one, Jide. The lighting is very good and you've captured that childish curiosity really well. Nice one.

...for some days now, I've had this picture printed in my brain...I keep wondering what she could have been thinking of....I hope she's a happpppyyy chilllddd....
Hi Jide! Haven't been "BLOGGING" lately and its fun catching up. I like this one a lot. I'm sure she would like to see this someday and will probably remember the moment you took it based on how intent she is in looking at you. It's a wonderful candid moment with exceptional lighting.
