B/W wedding moments #2

Okay small issues on yesterday's image re:composition. I hope this one is more to your liking, compositionwise.

The preparation, I think as a wedding photojournalist, these are by far my favourite parts of the wedding to work in. Its the part I find that you can really connect with your clients, the part where they are themselves. They are as nervous as you are.

I wonder how it must feel for a bride who is getting ready to be hitched. Getting up that morning and saying to yourself, "today I am going to be made a woman to someone very great and special to me". "OMG, it's 11:30am!!! eeeek! I'm not even made up yet!, the service in an hours time!!!"

I really do not know the feeling but somehow I think this image is my attempt at showing how lonely one must feel in this point in time, how inunderstandable, how colourless!!!

Lovely dress I have to say though!

"Words are not enough" - Art Exhibition
Get your tickets now!!!
Tickets on sale here

My very good friend BolanleDinah has been working very hard on an Art exhibition for charity. She approached me to contribute some of my works for auction along with some other artists. The title of the exhibition is "Words are not enough" and you can see more details of it here. I strongly urge you all to come as you'll not only get a chance to see good work in 3D but also a chance to give to charity. Tickets are on sale on the website through the "buy now" link at the top.

yes the composition is fab, even better is the lighting which helps the b&w treatment, great shot man

I really like the lighting and the angle here Jid. I like that there are no bridesmaids etc running around in the shot, it's quite contemplative, it really is 'her' moment - which you seldom get in wedding photos. It can be a chunk of cheesy smiley photos - it's good to see one like this.

So much feeling and emotion, Jide, in this one! Yes, you can use your imagination and know exactly what she's thinking. Well done!

Cause I know these is the type of image we want to capture for weddings, this is really well done. Now this is stepping up the quaity of ones wedding images.

I always think of the bride surrounded by bridesmaids and parents in a chaotic frenzy pre-wedding. It's nice to see a quieter moment like this and makes me feel contemplative.
thoughtful and deep scene...its wonderful but my only niggle is the edge of the box peeping in on the right...

That's a lovely moment, contemplative and serene.

Until I read your commentary I thought it was after the wedding

This is truely a work of art.
"Words are not enough" to describe what you have captured here.

added to my likey,If you used the burning tool to burn in the veil and the window do you reckon it will improve the shot slightly
