Tosin : You're putting up just your old stuff
Jide Alakija : Yup
Tosin : I can tell, it never has the impact as the ones you put up when you go out
Jide Alakija :Gosh! So you too! You can tell this too?!@#!!
Tosin : Yup
Jide Alakija : Sigh! Don't worry when I finish my thesis I'll start shooting again and posting daily.

Guys, this I'm sad to say is from the archive and doesn't have the impact of a fresh shot. Hey cut me some slack it's Saturday.

Like the shot, like the way the woman is in focus and then also almost also in focus is the guy pushing behind her

Really lovely shot Jide....i think the colours are great!!! mapped or not..( i dont even know the difference) but i love it when somebody plays the colours until something beautiful like this photo is the result.
The details in the clothes and her face are terrific! (did you use unsharp mask for that?

I hope my 'old' pictures look as good when I've learned what I'm doing. The woman's expression is wonderful.

I think the thesis is a bit more important than the photoblogging at the moment. (Spoken like the nagging mom type that I am, just ask my kids.)

This is interesting but, it's not among my favorites. There's something about it that I don't quite like and yet there is also much to like so I guess I'm ambivalent. There's a fuzziness on the right side that distracts me, it's not like it's actually the background though either. I just cannot quite put my finger on it.

If this is old stuff that doesn't have much of an impact, I am not sure I want to see your new stuff. Good luck with the thesis! I know the joys of writing one and sympathize.
