All flights lead to.....

Charles De Gaulle airport, this is a shot that was taken sometime ago on my way to Lagos, at a time when I was being a cheap skate. I basically had the option of flying direct to Lagos, instead I thought I'd save myself about £200 and fly through Paris. What a big mistake. Not only did I have to get to the airport for 5pm, I was charged £70 for excess luggage, in the end I later found out when I got to Paris that I should never have been charged by then it was too late because when I got back I couldn't get a refund from the desk I was charged. Can you imagine. I was told to call a number for my money. I called that number but never got a response. The whole became a big joke in the end I wasted more money chasing them for my money. I decided to just forget about it.

I've put this image up following the inspiration taken by Dotun, who posted a version yesterday and another one today. This is just my version, not better or worse so please don't compare it that way.

Thanks Dotun, I wouldn't have posted this if I hadn't seen yours.

Jide Alakija: Ta matie.
Sorry Jide I hate that airport but the shot is sweet.
Jide Alakija: Dude...you're not the only one who doesn't like the airport. I had a terrible time flying the airline and the airport.
I liked Dotun's version much better....
Jide Alakija: Grumble grumble.!!!! Much respect to the dude though.

I have got to respect the blue tone you've given this ceiling. Unfortunately the service offered at this airport is not as beautiful as their city. My shot today of this airport I prefer to the one I posted yeaterday, I took it this time from an angle. Great PP, its pin sharp.
Jide Alakija: Thanks. I think what you see is more better exposure and colour correction than sharpness, I find that when you correct the contrast through exposure you get good sharpness out of the image.
.....lol. Just messin' wit ya.

Do you have nothing else to put up? Come on, Jide!
Jide Alakija: Actually I did have another image I wanted to post for today but changed my mind when I saw Dotun's shot yesterday. wink I'll be back to some images from my walk tomorrow.

i'm assuming it's an optical illusion that makes it look like the beams running into the distance are *bent*. i love it. and i agree with dotun, the coloring is great.

nevermind, i see from dotun's photo that the beams truly are bent. oh well. cool anyway.

Another great CDG picture. Of the 3 i think todays picture of dotun with the slant in it win it marginally from this coloured one. Just.

Excellent picture - so why didn't you want to post it in the past?

My type of shot, Jide. I like picking out details from our everyday surroundings. This is top nothch for its symmetry and abstract nature.

A very pleasing design.

Very professional.Awesome shot!
the blue toning just isnt working for me on the left because it looks far too artificial....sorry dude, but dotun's version was more to my liking..
Uhmmm...liking the colour treatment treatment.
