Crumpled milk

You'd be happy to hear that I took some time out today to get some shots. As I said before I wanted to catch some shots at the River banks, I did but most of them didn't come out right. On my way there I saw this one and thought it might make an excellent macro for the week. My walk was sadly shortened as my fingered were badly frost bitten so I wasn't able to get as far as the banks as I'd liked too. Anyway this is the first from my walk.

Not some of your best work, this Jide. I don't see the shot...for a macro, there is just not enough detail imho.

see you later honey. Tosin
That's really beautiful. Typically the kind of picture I love, there is a good texture, a nice grey, this leaf alone in the corner. A perfect composition here !!! Bravo Maestro !

Milk? You lost me - or is that what i thought to be a bit too much light, then actually frozen milk?

Great composition w.r.t. the leaf. For some reason i have been thinking to lightly tap the ice (create cracks) and pour some blue or red ink in the cracks and take the picture again. Maybe i should try it, bit nothing will freeze here for some time.

Well done. I like the composition.
I hate when my hands get cold while taking photos. Try carrying a set of hand warmers. They are little disposable packets that can fit in your pocket they are so awesome. They stay hot for up to 10 hours. I use a brand called "Hot-Hands" They also make them for in your shoes.

I really like this kind of photo. Very nice simple composition.

The reflection of the leaf's stem is wonderful. This is a very nice image from your time out.

this if very quiet and beautiful
The shot is worth the little bit of frost bite I think. The contrast of colours and the dof is spot on Jide.
