Nicole

Back to what I call my comfort zone. A lovely colourful portrait. This is one of the third member of the Gospel pop group  Siani. I've been holding back on this one because I wanted to make it a bit special and colourful as I've done the others. (Simone and Agery).

I would have continued the series from yesterday but I've been away all day and am only just getting back home (00:33am) from a really tough but enjoyable job covering a Gospel Concert. I'll blog some shots from there soon. Right now too tired. Enjoy Nicole.

Lovely portrait, the colours are warm and inviting. The lighting gives her a supple skin and beautiful complexion a luminous glow. The backdrop is also perfect.

The only thing i am not sure about is the smile...

Nice one but nothing too surprising. I am waiting to be inspired Jide. Blow me away with a picture. I wanted poetry here...we are looking for poetry!!

Jide Alakija: Silly man! You are in for a treat tomorrow. I think you are very right, I'm very glad you pointed that out because now I have something to focus on. I've been struggling for inspiration myself and you've just inspired me.
I like the colors but the ligthing looks somewhat harsh on her forehead.
Jide Alakija: Thanks Dotun, the lighting as a result of exposure from the sun in my opinion frames the face. I wonder what would have happened if I under exposed a bit. Thanks again.

Light seems a bit too strong on her forehead. Like the composition and the colours, but the best thing for me in the chair, it looks so real
Jide Alakija: I actually think the light is okay, it's supposed to be a heavenly smile. grin

If you have visited Suby/Sinem's 'these streets' series I can understand why you didn't make your visit public knowledge.

I like it although it feels just a little tight on the sides around the elbows. She has a lovely expression and you've used a good tone to not overwhelm the shot.

A lovely lady, I wonder if the picture might have been slightly more flattering with her shoulders and elbows a little lower ... but I know nothing about portraits so feel free to ignore me completely!
and the award for best portrait photographer goes too......! JIDE..!
woohoo.!
lol nice shot yet again....!
love the soft feel you give to the portraits, could you explain how you do that when you get the time please?
