Is this an image you expect me to upload? I kept asking myself that today before I uploaded it. It's actually one I post processed the same time I did this shot, however I never thought it would make the cut to my photoblog at the time, I think I now know why I didn't want it up, then I was in a bit more of a creative spirit and was more about producing awesome portraits.
To be honest now I think of it I don't think that's what has made you all take the time to visit Alakija.com, on my drive home I suddenly realised what made a very good photoblog. I'm not going to say it, I think I'll start to act it.
"What on earth is Jide talking about?" I hear you say......"watch this space" is my response.
Streetphone
is back but with a twist this time. I've decided not to use my camera
phone anylonger as I'm having problems getting it to connect to my
laptop. It's now my Black and White Street photography blog. Check it out
Simple and effective. As far as I am concerned Jide, If people want to look at your photographs, then they are good - isn't that the point? Ok, people do expect a lot once you have built a reputation, the expectations do get higher and higher and it is difficult to always go one better. I have so many pics, but I am finding it difficult to decide what to post, so I am just winging it at the moment. I still believe this pic deserves to be on your blog. Regards, Neil.
"Watch this Space" I get it. A very good one to "watch" indeed.
I recently changed my approach to photoblogging and it's really made a difference, big difference. I feel really good about it too.
I really like the lighting and color in this, and the DOF. I'm not sure about the little green branch in the background though. I'm not sure if it matters that it's there or if it would be better if it wasn't.
This is a photo that makes me wonder.....can make different stories of it, i like it if a photo makes me think. Maybe even more beautiful without the green plant?
Would also make a strong B&W imho
Happy weekend Jide...
Dude, this image, in my humble opinion, is waaaay better than the one you refer to. This is crisp, and has great lighting. Ok, you could say it looka a little, I don't know...clichéd, it's got maybe a kind of "Stock Photo" feel about it. However, the spider's web is what sets it apart a little, for me. I have to say....I love it.
WOW! Now I am so curious as to what makes a good blog!! For those of us slow on the uptake, if we can't figure it out in a week or two...will you share your thoughts in words. I will be watching closely, though.
Love the colors in this shot, that's what this post is all about for me.
Me watching this spave. Me, I love the shot. SIMPLE.
