Balls from Paris #1

Let's see how long I can go on not posting people shots, I hope this one counts as a none people shot.. One of the things I like about Trafagar Square is the people you meet. This is an exhibit of a French glass ball genius by the name of Erwin, unfortunately I can't show you a picture of him yet because I don't want to put up a portrait for sometime, but I'll put one up later on.

Abi and I were taking quite a few photographs and also play around with thises balls, this is one shot that we both really liked, I'm sure he'll be posting his own shots sometime soon.

Streetphone is back but with a twist this time. I've decided not to use my camera phone anylonger as I'm having problems getting it to connect to my laptop. It's now my Black and White Street photography blog. Check it out

Fabulous shot, I like the depth of field and of course the very clear reflections in the glass balls smile
hey jide,

absolutely sick! this reminds me of a m.c. escher type of sketch. the reflections in the glass balls are perfect and the conversion to mono really matches the atmosphere/mood. brilliant!

Great shot. Love the clear reflections - I can even see a guy in there- and the dark background. Really adds to the mood of the shot.

You can be proud ! It's a beautiful picture. A sharp B&W, a good DOF and an original subject. Bravo.

Would this now be Paris of Troy after he had been had by Achilles? Jokes aside, this is and excellent shot, simple but very effective. Well done.

Nice. I've only got one photo of Erwin/Mistur that I really like. Will probably post next week sometime. Got a couple of good ones of that guy who called himself Zulu, or whatever so, unlike you, I'm going to indulgew in people shots quite a bit smile

this photo rocks. the reflected balls are cool. i'm just wondering what are those two white lines on the background?
Jide Alakija: Those two line are the pillars of the building you see in the galls balls. grin
