Okay Alakija is definitely having a good week. This is one for all you ladies that have been bugging me for a stud. I now have one for you. I present you Tajie and up and coming Soul artist. Check out his work on his Myspace page. We were shooting some images for his website, it was one of the most challenging shoots I'd ever done in that I had to do this in total darkness (there was no electricity at the location we were shooting). All in all we got a lot of very good stuff. I think I'll put up another one from the shoot sometime soon.
Jide, I AM VERY IMPRESSED. Loving the pose and absolutely loving the PPing, it is AWESOME. This is a 3D image I am looking at Dang I am more than impressed.
You get yourself the 1st "I LIKEY" I have bestowed on anyone in about 2 months. Lighting is not the best in the world, but this is such an amazing image who cares.
Outdone yourself here bro, you is on a role.

Jide Alakija: WOW!!! The Subster is back. I kinda miss this dude but now it's really weird because when you used to leave comments like these I didn't know you.
amazing photo of a real hottie. everything in this shot is absolutely perfect....the lighting, the pose, the shadows, the dof. jide, you really have outdone yourself on this one.
nice shirt....heeheeee..lol, o.k o.k Jide a beautiful image indeed ..maybe you lot need to charge the weletric key...or something...o.k I am being a little b*&^h...
EXCELLENT COMPO...AND DEFINITELY A GREAT subject...i like the intense but also subtle look on his face
excellent shot jide. if i send you over a photo of a slightly unfit lilly white aussie do you reckon you could pp a sick pack like that on my gut emm someones gut. cool shot
Jide Alakija: You must be joking!!!!! LOL. Thanks Nev.
Really nice one!
Quintessential Jide Alakija!
I think he went to my sec. school....actually I'm pretty sure he did..
wow...very surprising..i guess everyone has different facets...
anyway, A+
Jide Alakija: That's interesting but then again it is London and we somehow all know each other.
the model's right eye is distracting -its brighter than the left.it kinda makes him looks like he has proptosis or something.
Yeah the right eye is funny!
kinda reminds me of djimon hounsou except for the nose.
Jide Alakija: I see what you mean about the right eye. I guess I'll have to tone it down then. Thanks Man.
Love the soft tones here Jide...great capture..What kind of lighting did you use then? was it just flash? Ive got a jewelery shoot coming up, she wants the pieces flat on a dark male models' stomach..model has slight muscle tones..How should i sort out the lighting? any hints/tips?
Jide Alakija: I used one flash head with a snoot. I didn't use too much power so that the light through the curtains will be visible (The reason you see the curtain in the first place is because of light from outside the room, remember the room was dark). I suggest softening your flash and if you want the tones to come out on the skin use some oil!
Jide, Jide, this is one of the best shots I have seen on the 'chance. This is why I picked up a camera in the first place. I can only hope that one day I'll be able to produce work like this. You da Man!
Jide Alakija: Of course you're gonna do stuff like this. I used to be in your position not too long ago. Keep shooting.
The model has a good relaxed pose or posture (as well as a really nice shirt) but the background curtains are a bit busy and the face lighting could be improved slightly, but it is still super-shot. I like it.
Jide Alakija: This is why I need to work with someone like you.

oh this is nice. I cant believe that is my house. I am sure Tunji is very happy with it. Very sexy!!
Miss Etomi...you request has been granted. I have just signed an agreement with Mr. Alakija to roll out a 2007 Yinkavelli Calender. Every month a special treat!!
Now this is more like it. Jide, you've obviously been listening to your disgrutled females fans and have put up a shot to silence us for a month (but no longer). This is a fantastic shot of a very sexy man and for that, you get the first star from the Frustrauted Women on Shutterchance Association. For an extra star you can post his digits (of course, this will only be used for research) along with the next picture - now, that will keep us quiet for a year!

Great shot! Love the way half his face is in the shade. The only let down is the lack of intensity in his eyes and the upholstery on the chair, it interferes with the stripes and looks out of place!
Stunning work Jide. This is one handsome model with a body to envy.
I really love the lighting here, that reveals just enough of his facial features and concentrates onhis amazing abs. The pose, too, is perfectly relaxed looking.
I don't know if it was intentional or a touch of serendipity, but the shirt complements the wall covering, or vice versa.
Jide sorry for my lack of posts lately, as for this shot, I do like it the pose is languid and relaxed, I do like the framing and the PP is as always on the money, the only point I would make mention of is the lack of light on the right side of his face, a reflector to the side for fill in would have cured this, still a great shot my friend...
