Gloomy Bank

This has come very late and wasn't what I intended to put up.

Last night I was admitted into Casualty as I started experiencing some symptoms of a lose retina, I basically was partially blind and couldn't see things on my left side without looking in that direction. It turned out that that was the first sign of a serious Migrain I attack I was about to experience that put in bed through the night. Tosin was very kind in bringing me home from the hospital to rest and now I've been instructed to rest the whole day.

When I'm feeling better I hope I'll be able to post a blog tomorrow otherwise it will have to be Monday.

Have a great weekend.

Eeek, I bet that was scarier than a *really scary* thing. A migraine's bad enough, but it's got to be loads better than a loose retina. Like Samarth says, health first, photography second. Hope you're feeling better soon. Take it easy.

All that aside, the photo is really good, I love the way you do your skies. It looks like it could be in the Low Countries, but I guess it's on the Thames somewhere. Personally, I think I'd lose half to two-thirds of the water at the bottom and try to balance the levels of the top left & right corners a bit, but that's just me smile

Hey Jide, hope you're feeling better. It must have been a scary feeling even to partially be blind - especially for a photographer; glad to hear it was just the sign of a migraine attack - those things can be nasty though so make sure you get plenty of rest!
Lovely shot - this one's for me, right?

I like how you have focussed the image towards the centre line but used the water and the sky to balance it nicely.
